The Australian bush is a natural healing space. Whenever you spend time there you will find healing. It contains many trees and plants that heal on both a physical and emotional level.
There are other places less wild that also have these plants and trees; the Sydney Botanical Gardens is an example of a healing spot allowing city workers to dissipate their stress. The healing inherent in these Australian trees and plants has become available to us in the form of essential oils.
I decided to create a blend in 3 places that have an abundance of this healing energy, the Sydney Botanical Gardens, Salt Pan Creek and Sylvan Native Gardens.
In addition I also blended a layer during a thunder and lightning storm – a powerful cleansing force.
Finally I placed some mookaite, an Australian jasper, in fractionated coconut oil to imbue the blend with its healing properties.
The Aussie Healing Spirit Blend was created to help anyone who:-
• Feels stuck emotionally or spiritually and wants to move on

There are 6 powerful emotional and spiritual healing essential oils in the blend.
Aniseed myrtle (Backhousia anisata) – To help you move on if you are feeling stuck by reawakening your imagination and allowing you to see things from a different perspective.
Australian sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) – An emotional and spiritual wound healer for the person who feels not good enough for just being who they are and who feels vulnerable showing their true self. Australian sandalwood helps lessen the fears around these issues while at the same time giving you the strength to preserve and overcome your fears and challenges so you can become the person you were truly meant to be.
Eucalyptus staigeriana (Eucalyptus staigeriana) – Both uplifts and soothes when you are feeling down. She strengthens the will to change your life, helps you express yourself and releases emotions that no longer serve you.
Fragonia (Agonis fragrans) – Helps you to release emotional blockages, scars and hurts that stem from unresolved family issues. She gives you the strength to deal with the emotional pain and trauma you may face during challenging times and come out feeling calmer, stronger and more resilient.
Kunzea (Kunzea ambigua) – On an emotional level she is excellent for releasing deep emotional pain that has been ignored or suppressed and can also be used to ease anxiety, nervous tension and stress.
Nerolina (Melaleuca quinquenervia CT nerolidol/linalool) – Brings balance to all areas body, mind and spirit and has the ability to promote self-confidence and love. She is calming, soothing and uplifting.
Mookaite
Mookaite reflects the various colours of the Australian earth. She gives the desire for new experiences and the openness to see all the possibilities and choose the right one. Mookaite also encourages a deep connection to the wisdom and ancestors of Australia as well as helping to release emotions such as fear and anger.
How do I use the blend?
The blend can be used wherever you feel the need. The oils are blended in a base oil (fractionated coconut) so can be applied straight to the body. Because it is a preblended oil it can’t be used in a vaporiser.
When doing any form of healing on yourself you can apply a drop or two to your palms and inhale the aroma. You can also apply a drop or two to your feet or wherever you feel the blend and healing is needed whether that be a chakra, meridian or for example throat.
If you are doing a healing on another ask the person who is having the healing session to inhale the aroma. Another way is to put a drop or two on a tissue nearby where they can smell it. You can also add a few drops to some base oil for massaging or apply straight from the bottle where where needed as above.
